Clearly Kosciusko Member Collaboration Spotlight
Friday, October 30, 2020
We appreciate and support all of our members. The Clearly Kosciusko Member Spotlight is typically a way for our members to highlight their organization or business and for us to show how much we appreciate their participation.
This spotlight is a little bit different, as we want to share some of the unique and innovative ways our members have been able to collaborate with one another over the past year.
At Clearly Kosciusko, collaboration and community partnership is what fuels our story of unity. Want to discover more about becoming a Clearly Kosciusko member? Click here to learn more.
Community Partnership Is Vital For Local Businesses
It can be difficult to shift your mindset from a single focus on your business’ success into one of collaboration and community. It makes sense! Your business is your livelihood; you worked hard to get where you are and want to continue to experience success.
However, when our neighboring businesses succeed, we all experience success. Instead of going into collaboration with another business only focused on how it can improve your bottom line, set a larger goal. That can look like helping one another attract new customers neither of you would have been able to engage with before.
Local Small Business Owners Are Supporting Each Other
Locally-owned small businesses and organizations are the key to helping communities like ours not only survive, but grow!

Clear Vision Media And The Lab
Clear Vision Media created a podcast called “Talk of the Village” through a collaboration with KEDCo. The podcast shares the stories of small business owners and entrepreneurs in our local community.
Another one of Clearly Kosciosku’s members, The Lab, was recently featured on the podcast. Listen to the podcast here: https://rss.com/podcasts/in-your-business/53318/
LaunchPad
LaunchPad is a coalition of local community leaders here in Kosciusko County. Many of the same community members are also involved with Clearly Kosciusko, including the Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce, the Kosciusko County Community Foundation, and the City of Warsaw.
LaunchPad is the Child Care and Early Learning Coalition and was established in October of 2018 to help increase access to child care in Kosciusko County.
The Lab And 1Eighty Digital
During the Downtown Warsaw Sidewalk Sale in August, Kevin Hamstra, the owner of 1Eighty Digital and Lyle Schrock, the owner of The Lab, decided to work together.

1Eighty Digital gave away a free lunch from 110 Craft Meatery to the first 20 people who brought a receipt into The Lab from a store participating in the Sidewalk Sale. By doing so, all three local businesses were promoted while they raised awareness about the local event!
