Clearly Kosciusko Member Spotlight – City Of Warsaw

Friday, July 3, 2020

We appreciate and support all of our members. The Clearly Kosciusko Member Spotlight is a way for our members to highlight their organization or business and for us to show how much we appreciate their participation.

The Clearly Kosciusko member we’re shining the spotlight on this month is the City of Warsaw. As a government agency, everything the City of Warsaw does is to help to protect and support our community’s story in Warsaw and throughout Kosciusko County.

If you’d like to have your business or organization featured, consider joining Clearly Kosciusko for free!

About The City Of Warsaw

As the county seat of Kosciusko County, the City of Warsaw is instrumental in telling the story of our community. Known as the “Orthopedic Capital of the World”, Warsaw has a long history of supporting local orthopedic manufacturers, suppliers, and other medical device companies.

Full of city parks, lakes, and other beautiful landmarks, Warsaw is a beautiful part of Kosciusko county where you can learn, play, and grow.

Supporting Our Local Community

The City of Warsaw finds innovative ways to help our local community thrive. The city provides corporate and leisure aviation services, planning and building support for local businesses, innovative and inclusive programs through our parks, and services that make life easier for residents and visitors. The city is also responsible for police and fire protection, street maintenance, trash services, and more! To learn more about what services and resources the City of Warsaw provides for our county, visit their website to connect with local government officials and departments.

Partnering With Local Organizations

In addition to providing city services, the City of Warsaw comes alongside many other local organizations and initiatives to help provide funding, visibility, and support.

A few of the organizations are:

  • Lilly Center for Lakes and Streams

While many of the events and activities the City of Warsaw usually supports are halted due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the city’s Parks & Recreation Department continues to provide virtual programming opportunities to enjoy during the summer months.

From children’s programming to a community scavenger hunt, the city is still providing ways for residents and visitors to connect in our county.

There are also still a few in-person events that are slated to begin later this summer:

Why Clearly Kosciusko?

“The City of Warsaw may be a government unit, but we touch many different parts of our community. Our vitality and growth as a city relies on telling our story, caring for our natural resources, and building our community. Everything we do, from stormwater quality control to emergency services to leisure opportunities helps to protect and support our community’s story.”

Staci Young, Assistant to the Mayor (City of Warsaw)

Clearly Kosciusko was created to tell a story of unity within our community, encouraging residents and visitors to share their stories. As an integral part of Kosciusko County, the City of Warsaw decided to add their voice to our efforts
