Clearly Kosciusko Member Spotlight – Creighton Brothers
Thursday, March 16, 2023

We appreciate and support all of our members. The Clearly Kosciusko Member Spotlight is a way for our members to highlight their organization or business and for us to show how much we appreciate their participation.
The Clearly Kosciusko member we’re shining the spotlight on this month is Creighton Brothers, a family-run farm that has been a part of our community since the mid to late 1800s!
About Creighton Brothers

Officially founded in 1925, Creighton Brothers is celebrating their 98th year in business in Kosciusko County supporting our local economy and employment. This egg-producing farm is in its fourth generation and also features Creighton’s Crazy Egg Cafe serving delicious farm-fresh eggs Monday – Saturday.
They are proud to work closely with the Kosciusko County Community Fund, allowing them to consistently fund charitable projects. In addition, their work with Dr. Nate Bosch at The Lilly Center for Lakes & Streams is something they are passionate about.
“Dr. Nate Bosch has been a very significant leader in the community and the efforts toward maintaining beautiful clean waters in the county. He has also been a champion of agriculture and clearing up the narrative of farming abuses to our lands and waterways. We have shown him all that we do to not over-apply applications to our tillable crop ground and respect for setbacks from ditches, field tile risers, and as previously mentioned the treasure of operating along the Tippecanoe River.”

Connecting With Our Local Community
Creighton Brothers gives back to the community whenever possible, connecting with local organizations and businesses such as:
- Beaman Home
- United Way
- Grace College
- The Lilly Center for Lakes & Streams
- Magical Meadows
- Cardinal Services
- Atwood Otterbein United Methodist Church (and many other churches)
- Kosciusko Leadership Academy (adult & youth)

- Animal Welfare League
- Mentone Youth League
Creighton Brothers’ goal is to continue to help the roots of our community and be there for projects large and small to help brick-and-mortar efforts along with the people in our community who have needs they can meet.
“The more we learned about the movement behind Clearly Kosciusko and its growth, the more we wanted to jump in! Our farm and the ancestry of the Creighton Family go back into the mid to late 1800s in Kosciusko County, especially south of Atwood along the Tippecanoe River. Today, we farm many acres along the Tippecanoe and feel proud that it is considered one of the cleanest rivers in the U.S. We feel the reasons behind Clearly Kosciusko are just that, CLEAR.”
