We appreciate and support all of our members. The Clearly Kosciusko Member Spotlight is a way for our members to highlight their organization or business and for us to show how much we appreciate their participation.
The Clearly Kosciusko member we’re shining the spotlight on this month is Patona Bay Marina & Resort. Located in Leesburg, IN, Patona Bay is a multi-generational family-owned local business that has been a part of the community since the 1920s.
About Patona Bay Marina & Resort
Brothers George and Robert Paton are the third generation to own and operate the business. The Paton family has been active in the area since 1905 when their grandfather first came to Leesburg.
In 1928, Patons’ grandfather purchased a large farm near the lake with the dream of turning it into a family camping and picnic area.
In its early days, Patona Bay Marina & Resort hosted mostly tent campers and picnickers, but over the years the Paton family has added many new features.
Today the marina and resort include a camping area for RVs, park models, and a few tents, plus cottage rentals.
Guests also have access to the beach, docks, the snack bar, and can enjoy a variety of activities, from water skiing to swimming, beach volleyball, and basketball.
Their customers come from all over to purchase new or pre-owned boats and customize their watercraft.

Patona Bay Resort & Marina is involved in supporting a variety of community organizations and initiatives, including:
