We appreciate and support all of our members. The Clearly Kosciusko Member Spotlight is a way for our members to highlight their organization or business and for us to show how much we appreciate their participation.
The Clearly Kosciusko member we’re shining the spotlight on this month is Pedals & Paddles, a local full-service cycling and paddlesports outfitter in North Webster.
About Pedals & Paddles
Pedals & Paddles opened in 2017 to serve the needs of cyclists and paddle sports enthusiasts in the north-central Indiana Lakes region, including Kosciusko County.
Many specialty shops in the area had been pushed out by big box stores over the years and they saw a need for expert bike and paddle sports services. Want to check out a virtual tour of the store? Click Here
Connecting With Our Local Community

Pedals & Paddles is a member of their local Chamber of Commerce and strive to support local causes. Steve Huffman, the owner, is also one of the founding members of the new North Webster Connector Trail project that is working on funding for a bike and walking trail from North Webster to Syracuse (and other future connections).
The committee is headed by Dan Thystrup, and they are working on securing various grants in order to move forward with the trail system.
Steve is also a committee member of the Tour des Lakes organization that hosts a county-wide bike ride based out of Syracuse, IN each summer. Registration is now open for the 2023 event!
