The Lilly Center
The Lilly Center for Lakes & Streams is a founding partner of Clearly Kosciusko, championing the lakes and the role they play in our local environment and economy. The Lilly Center (based at Grace College in Winona Lake, Ind.) offers lake-focused, actionable data, educational resources and best practices for homeowners and visitors.
Kosciusko County is home to 100+ lakes, the headwaters of the Tippecanoe River, and a plethora of small, friendly towns along the shores of picturesque waterways. Beyond the beauty you can see with your naked eye, there is another world of patterns and intricate details, and entire ecosystems of tiny organisms. Whether or not you call Kosciusko County home, you can help us preserve its beauty (and discover its secrets) for generations to come.

The Origin of Clearly Kosciusko
The Lilly Center started Clearly Kosciusko in 2017 to connect visitors and residents to the lakes of Kosciusko County, Ind. The Lilly Center team saw a learning gap between what people knew and what they appreciated about the lakes in our community, and set out to provide the missing information: data-backed action steps that residents and visitors could take to protect and enjoy the natural resources in the county.
In 2018, however, the Lilly Center realized its vision needed to expand and include Kosciusko County’s numerous economic and tourism benefits. The Kosciusko County Convention and Visitors Bureau, Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce, and the Kosciusko Economic Development Corporation came on board soon after.
Clearly Kosciusko helps businesses connect to each other and their ideal audiences, while uniting their unique missions to champion the entirety of Kosciusko County. To further that goal, Clearly Kosciusko began to sign on new members 2019. These businesses and organizations are essential to the brand and the local economy.
